Today, I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis. I think this is deserving of my second blog post ever.
It went well, and I am taking a moment to, once more, thank everyone who supported me. My Ph.D. was an overall very positive and self-defining experience, and I owe this to all the amazing people who accompanied me throughout the years.
For my defense, I (and Opus 5, whose CSS skills are now vastly better than mine) improved the visualization tool from my last blog post to generate animations of Static Basic Block Versioning and its successor, Lambda Versioning.
I think there is value in sharing the slides of my defense here. Navigation keybindings can be displayed by pressing p to open the presenter view.
